Dr. Raul Murillo is the General Director of the National Cancer Institute (NCI) of Colombia. He holds a medical degree from the University of Antioquia in Colombia and a Master’s in Public Health. Dr. Murillo has extensive experience in cancer research and prevention, having worked at the population-based cancer registry of California and collaborated with the IARC screening group. He has over 40 scientific publications and has led initiatives to implement the WHO Framework Convention on Tobacco Control in Colombia. As the General Director of the Colombian NCI, Dr. Murillo has been instrumental in advancing cancer prevention and control efforts in the country.
